Pender Lea is situated on 2800 acres of bushland adjoining the Kosciusko National Park. Pender Lea is on the Alpine Way, 5 minutes drive to Perisher Ski Tube and 15 minutes to Thredbo Alpine Village, with quick access to the ski slopes or the alpine country. Pender Lea Chalets is an ideal location for your summer and winter holidays, with a variety of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets. Pender Lea accommodation varies from beautiful Swiss style chalets in bush settings and with every touch of luxury, to the comfortable and well equipped budget style mobile homes. Pender Lea is open all year round with horse riding trail rides available on site. |
The Chalets
| Pender Lea Chalets are a unique accommodation built in a Swiss style. There are 2 chalets, each divided into 2 units, each with open fireplaces. Pender Lea Chalets have either 2 or 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms for 8 or 10 people. All have a loft, a fully eqquiped kitchen, dining room, lounge room and a room with a spa, sauna, extra shower and toilet. Pender Lea also have a laundry and underfloor heating. |
The Cottage - Pender Lea

The Pender Lea Cottage is a large, modern, colonial style cottage - perfect for a family or a group. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas stove, microwave and dishwasher. The spacious lounge room has an open fireplace, TV, video and stereo. The Cottage has four bedrooms: Bedrooms 1 and 2: Queen beds There are 3 bathrooms, central heating, laundry and an outdoor barbeque.The Cottage also features a sauna and spa with an extra shower and toilet. The Cottage can sleep up to 14 persons. |
Bedsitter - Pender Lea
| The Bedsitter is attached to Pender Lea Cottage and is fully self-contained with kitchen and bathroom, queen sized bed and a double sofa. It has a TV, video, microwave and laundry. It sleeps up to 4 persons. |
The Hilton - Pender Lea
| This was an old rustic hut used by a group of dedicated skiers in the old days. It has now been completely renovated. It has 2 bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed, the other has a set of bunks and a king split (can be a king or two singles). The open-plan kitchen / lounge has an open fireplace, TV, video and microwave. It sleeps up to 6 persons. |
Mobile Homes
| These are modern units featuring double insulation, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. Each mobile home has a seperate bedroom for 2 people (mostly queen beds) plus a tri-level bunk. There is a seperate bathroom, shower and toilet and a sitting area with cooking facilities, microwave, TV and video. These are a great option for those on a budget. Sleep up to 5 persons. |
The Post Office - Pender Lea
| The
Post Office is a beautifully restored historic cottage. It features a
modern European kitchen with modern appliances . There are two
bathrooms and a spa. The lounge area features an open fireplace, TV,
video and stereo. The Post Office has three bedrooms: Bedroom 1 and 2: King bed The Post Office sleeps up to 9 persons. |
